Broward County Launches Automated Electronic Procurement System with Vendor Training Sessions

Broward County has transitioned to a new Electronic Procurement System (BPro) to automate and streamline the procurement process. To help contractors and suppliers adapt to the new system, the county is hosting a series of live virtual training sessions. These sessions will provide step-by-step instructions on how to search for and submit bids using the new system and offer participants an opportunity to ask questions. The scheduled sessions are as follows:

  • Wednesday, August 8, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Monday, September 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
  • Wednesday, October 2 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday, October 16, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The county’s move to BPro represents a significant step towards modernizing its procurement operations, making it easier for vendors to engage with county projects.
