Polikar Engineering Solutions (PES) is a South Florida structural engineering firm specializing in forensic engineering, design & development, and construction management. As our firm continues to grow, we are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Job Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical system analysis, including load calculations and fault current analysis, to ensure system reliability and safety.
- Design and develop electrical systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
- Conduct forensic evaluations of electrical systems to identify deficiencies or issues in existing structures.
- Prepare detailed electrical design drawings, reports, and documentation in collaboration with the CAD team.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and regulations, including the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Support construction management efforts by reviewing submittals, conducting site inspections, and coordinating with contractors.
- Provide technical expertise and recommendations to clients and project teams.
- Maintain proactive communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Active Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe.
- At least 3 years of experience in electrical design and analysis for construction projects.
- Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant codes and standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex concepts.

Salary: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
